What if we saw people through Trauma-Informed eyes and let go of control?
We would recognize survival in behavior, not pathology. Instead of telling people what’s wrong and what to ‘do,’ we would support them in healing themselves. We would trust biology to restore balance—when given the right attention. We would connect, rather than strive for individual survival.
A few years ago, my life fell apart. I knew conventional care wasn’t the answer—it hadn’t been for 25 years for me and everybody around me. So instead, I started studying abroad (mostly online), did therapy in the U.S., and applied everything I learned to myself. Books and countless trainings everywhere, but always rooted in personal experience. This journey led me from professional photographer to therapist.
Now, I help people through a Trauma-Informed lens, using therapies that foster true autonomy. I adapt to my clients—not the other way around.
